Current residence hall students have the opportunity to select a
residence hall space for summer 2009. The process will begin
March 16th, 2009. The deadline for priority assignments is 5:00
p.m. on Friday, April 10th.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO APPLY FOR HOUSING?
OPTION 1:
A. Read this information carefully and the information about hall choices found
on our web site.
B. Apply electronically by clicking the "CONTINUE" button located
at the bottom of this page.
C. Completed applications must be received by Friday, April 10th for priority
assignment.
D. Assignment Information for Summer A/B for those meeting the priority deadline
will be mailed to your campus U-box. Those not meeting the deadline will have
their invoices available in the University Housing Office on April 29th,
2009. Room Assignment invoices for summer C term will be mailed to your permanent
address.
OPTION 2:
A. Come by the University Housing Office to pick up a Current Housing Student
Summer Housing Agreement.
B. Complete the Housing Agreement with the appropriate information.
C. Return the completed Agreement form to the University Housing Office by
April 10th, 2009 for priority assignment.
D. Assignment Information for Summer A/B for those meeting the priority deadline
will be mailed to your campus U-box. Those not meeting the deadline will have
their invoices available in the University Housing Office on April 29th,
2009. Room Assignment invoices for summer C term will be mailed to your permanent
address
GENERAL INFORMATION
What are my Hall choices?
Sherrill W. Ragans Hall, and McCollum Hall are the only available options and
will house students above the freshman level selecting summer sessions A, B
and C.
When do residence halls open for occupancy?
The residence halls open for summer sessions A and B at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday,
May 7st, and for Summer Session C at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24th. Unfortunately,
we can not honor requests to move in earlier than these dates and times.
What do I do now?
Sign and date the Housing Agreement and return it to the University Housing
Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10th, 2009. Notices
for Sessions A/B will be mailed to the campus address. Room assignment invoices
for summer session C will be mailed to each student's permanent address in
early June.
Cancellation Information for Current Housing Students
Current Housing students who choose to cancel this agreement must do so in
writing PRIOR TO APRIL 25th, 2009. After this date current
housing students will be financially obligated for the summer housing fees
for the selected summer term. The only exception is written notice that you
will not be attending FSU.
